1. Who we are
Cardloom ("we", "us") is an AI-powered study app that turns your notes into flashcards, quizzes, and tests. Contact: cardloom.flash@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: email, display name, and avatar you provide at sign-up.
- Study content: notes, documents, and images you upload to generate flashcards, quizzes, or tests.
- Usage data: AI credits used, features accessed, ads viewed, and device/browser type.
- Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
3. How we use it
To run the service, generate study materials with AI, prevent abuse, process subscriptions, and improve features. We do not sell your personal data.
4. AI processing
Study content you upload is sent to third-party AI providers (e.g., Google Gemini, OpenAI) to generate output. Providers process this data under their own terms and do not train models on your content for the API tier we use.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored on Supabase (Postgres) with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Row-level security restricts each user to their own data.
6. Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your account and data at any time from Settings, or by emailing cardloom.flash@gmail.com. We honor GDPR and CCPA requests.
7. Children
Cardloom is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the "Last updated" date above.
